Cheng Shifa Wall Art

A collection of paintings by famous Chinese artist Cheng Shifa, which were originally commissioned to appear on postage stamps and philatelic commemoratives. Cheng Shifa (1921-2007) was born in a small Chinese village in Songjiang County outside the city of Shanghai. He graduated from the Traditional Chinese Painting Department of the Shanghai Fine Art School in 1941, and held his first exhibition only a year later. Cheng served on the committee of the Institute of Chinese Paintings and was a member of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
