Description
The tiny Audubon's Warbler bears blue-gray plumage which breaks in five spots to reveal lovely golden feathers. This hearty woodland beauty often nests at extremely high altitudes, then spends the cold winter months in the same area, only at lower elevations. Though the weather may bring cold and snow, he rarely forsakes his western home. When spring arrives and the ice and snow begin to melt, it is one of the first birds to sing its cheerful song from high in the evergreens.
