Description
Originally designed before World War II as a 36-passenger airliner, the Curtiss C-46 Commando quickly evolved into a transport capable of carrying 50 troops as well as a heavy freight load. Commando achieved everlasting fame flying "the Hump" over the Himalayas from India to China.
